Cattle:

• Gastrointestinal Roundworms: Afrivet Ecomectin 1% Injectable (500ml)Ostertagia ostertagi, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Oesophagostomum radiatum, and adult Cooperia species.

• Lungworms: Dictyocaulus viviparus.

Dosage & Administration

Important: Administer via Subcutaneous (S.C.) injection only under loose skin (e.g., behind the shoulder in cattle/pigs or under the flank/neck in sheep/goats). Use sterile equipment and proper restraint techniques.

• Cattle, Sheep, & Goats:

  • Standard Dose: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight (equivalent to 200 µg Ivermectin per kg body weight).

• Pigs:

  • Standard Dose: 1 ml per 33 kg body weight (equivalent to 300 µg Ivermectin per kg body weight).

Always accurately assess body weight prior to dosing to avoid underdosing or waste.

Withdrawal Periods & Warnings

CAUTION: Adhere strictly to meat and milk withdrawal periods to ensure food safety standards.

• Meat Withdrawal:

  • Cattle: 49 days

  • Sheep & Goats: 28 days

  • Pigs: 28 days

• Milk Warning: Do not use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption. Do not use in non-lactating dairy cows/dairy sheep within 60 days of calving/lambing.

• Route Precaution: Do not administer intravenously (I.V.) or intramuscularly (I.M.).
